Mark & Geoff based on the Sunshine Coast is a Sunshine Coast-based gay activities tour operator that specialises in awesome events and tours for the GAY community here in the Sunshine Coast and beyond.

QAF Events is a subsidiary of Coast to Hinterland Tours and holds all the appropriate licences, public liability insurance and accreditations and full industry-approved COVID-safe plan

On average, our guests range in age from approximately 35 and beyond depending on the type of activity, although our guests are predominantly guys (at the moment!), we love love love welcoming the gals. Women makeup about 10% of our guest numbers so far, and come for the same reasons as the guys: to have the freedom to be themselves in a warm, welcoming community, to meet people and to enjoy new experiences and activities

Tickets are non-refundable

Day Trips

0% cancellation fee applies for bookings cancelled more than 14 days before departure less a $50 administration fee per booking.
50% cancellation fee applies for bookings cancelled within 14 days before departure.
100% cancellation fee applies for same-day cancellations or no-shows

Holiday Escapes

Deposits, airfares, cruise and rail fares paid to third-party tour operators are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation More than 90 days before departure – $50 per person
Cancellation 90-61 days before departure – 25% of fare
Cancellation 60-21 days before departure – 50% of fare
Cancellation 20 days or less before departure – 100% of fare.

Payment is required either more than 21 days of the event. No admittance will be granted where payment has not been received in full unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing with QAF Events.

Full payment is required at the time of booking or 7 days before the event.

If you are unable to attend an event, a replacement delegate may be sent to your place at no extra charge. Notification must be made in writing and received before the event commencing.

Most events are suitable for adults 18+ only. Refer to individual events for more information

All events will proceed regardless of rain or other weather conditions unless we are aware of conditions/forecasts that would make it unsafe or practically not viable. Full refunds are given if events are cancelled before the event. All events are subject to operational needs and changes that may result in some variations to published itineraries and inclusions.

No, if you have paid in full and you have received a confirmation email, then there is no need to reconfirm your booking.

We require full payment at the time of placing your online order and accept all major credit cards or bank transfers. We can accept all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country in 135+ currencies. Credit card payments incur a 1.9% surcharge.
